Very nice pics, I loved the first photo of evanescence. Vigilante is also a nice composition, but somehow I felt it lacked the power… too spread out.
After the greens and blues,I look forward to other colours and hues..

@ Evanescence #1 , such pics are just a matter of being at the right place.. at the right time.. with the right equipment. The brief interplay between the clouds & streaked sunlight appeared out of blue (literally) while I was about to wrap up. It salvaged my 3 hr walkabout by rewarding me with a very satisfying frame. If it wasn’t for this pic, i would have nothing noteworthy to share.
@Vigilante , I liked the stillness & quiet elegance of the structure against an equally serene skyline. It is hard to believe that it was overcast for most of the morning & afternoon. Only in late evening the gloom lifted and this scene presented itself.
Many thanks for your appreciation & mild critique :)
I like silhouettes (which is probably why I’m a lousy portrait photographer ) so I give these a thumbs up. Besides how can I critique anything accompanied by a quote from Pamuk or Murakami

LOL @ silhouetted portraits..
Today another friend said “The snaps are good. But I liked the quotes more” . I fumed (silently) as if labeling my labour of love as mere “snaps” wasn’t enough that she had to rub it in, aswell.
Thanks AB. I cropped the original to get what you see in the header. The cropped image was further englarged by the "strech to fit" feature, while uploading to blogger.
I am a recent 'Murakami' convert. So far I have only read "Norwegian Wood" & "After Dark". Liked both books immensely. The Public Libraries here have an impressive collection of Murakami. I am gonna pick my way slowly through the entire range.
Good to see you here & Thanks for your comment(s).

Loved this one! It looks like the spikes are smoking. Har fikr ko dhuen mein udaata chala gaya.
Thanks Ano, now that's an unique interpretation :)
Hey,
Are you too a Haruki Murakami fan?
I am!
Nice pics.
